Welcome Message from our Principal

Welcome to our website!!  On behalf of myself and the entire staff at Lynd Public School, I would like to welcome you and your child/children to what we hope will be a fun, rewarding, and enriching educational experience.

Lynd Public School's excellent teaching staff and support personnel want to ensure that every child succeeds. Our goal is to support and encourage each child in achieving his/her potential by instilling in them a sense of worth, curiosity and love of learning. If there is something going on that you feel may impact your child's success or focus at school, please communicate with your child's teacher, myself, or any other staff member. We are all here to support you and your student in the pursuit of excellence.

Being actively involved in your child's education is essential in developing a strong partnership between home and school. Whether you are working fulltime or stay at home, make sure you take time everyday to connect and be present with your child. Talk to your child about what they are doing in school, have your child read to you, provide a quiet place to do homework every day, and help your child stay organized!

Lynd Public School's mission is to provide "a safe educational environment and high quality, individualized curriculum which is the foundation that promotes student success and prepares students to become life-long learners." We are a school where everyone shares in the responsibility for the success of every one of our students. We cannot do it alone.

Here's to a commitment of teamwork, community building, inclusion, and to do our best for Lynd Public School's amazing student population.

In Education,

Jason Swenson

Lynd Principal
